All day, whenever I entered my kitchen, there was a bunny staring at me. He would look at me with those pitiful eyes and beg me to come closer and take a better look. I resisted his charms and continued on with my day. However, I always knew he was there.... Sadly, at 10pm last night, I couldn't resist him anymore. I went over and grabbed him. I ripped off his shiny exterior and bit a chunk out of him. He was filled with sponge toffee which just melted in my mouth and made me want more. Before I knew it, he was gone and the only remains of him was the melted chocolate on my fingertips!
What was I to do? What could I have done differently?

I'm horrified! I knew my insurance would go up due to getting a new car but I didn't expect it to go up over $2,000. I did have an accident with the snow/ice in the winter. I was just telling my brother that I have had my car since March 2, 2026 and have only spent $75 on an oil change. Now this! I called another insurance company and their quote was over $4,000. I guess I have to pay...

We all have 24 hours in a day. How we spend these hours is important. Watching a little bit of a video about how sitting affects us made me aware of how much sitting and laying down I do. Gonna have to work on that.Your turn. Tell me another truth.
i do love chocolates or sweets and absolutely CANT CONTROL myself until i finish it.
but i stopped making sweets at home. i love chocolates so i take a small square per day to satisfy myself.
I would of and have done the same thing. Once I start on something sweet it is history until it is gone.
The only way I can control myself is to keep it out of sight.
My sweet tooth has absolutely no will power!!!
It's nice to know that I'm not in this alone!
It's hard to resist some temptations. I'm pretty good about keeping control over things and don't usually go overboard but, I don't know what came over me!
I guess the fact that he was bought for me didn't help.... I knew he was all mine. Every one else had their own so mine was looking kind of lonely. I even offered it to my kids and they all said that it was mine! Agh. What was i to do?
There are some great suggestions on here.
As for your kids not eating it, next time try a different approach. Let each child know, one at a time, that you are concerned about something that they did wrong and they may not get a share of the chocolate bunny. When each of them gets a bit worried (ie starting to see through your method), "relent" and give it to them.
With enough saleswomanship they will be primed and ready for next easter and will do extra chores around the house to get your share of the chocolate!
All kidding aside, yes, we all have trouble with something!
I freeze my sweets in bite size sigal serveings.
My son's were only alloowed 3 pc of candy out of thier E baskets. I would freeze the rest. I would space when they could have a pc.
yep we need to teach them how to eat cook put on grocery list n how to shop. begin when they know to through a fit for a new toy,lol
Once in bluemoon I will give myself all kinds of excuses as to getting a pc n eatting a pc. ya I tell myself too that it will be ok, was ok to do so, after all it won't effect me/my life.
Unfortunately, I always have candy and chocolates around. I have three kids and there's always stuff. In fact, my DD finally ate her last bunny/ Easter treat yesterday after school.
My other DD and my DS have theirs still lingering around.
I usually have self control and can walk right on by. It doesn't even bother me that I see a jar of mini candies and chocolates every time I make tea. I just do what I do.
But something happened to me that day...
