Hi, I'm new to the group, but not to DS. Any advice/ help would be appreciated. I'm in a wedding in october and would like to loose as much as I can. Has anyone tried Alli? Any info on that would be great! I have tried WW I like the idea of it but wasn't thrilled about counting and adding up everything. I try and excersize when I can, but I have a 1 yr. old that is a mommie's girl, she doesn't let me get to far away from her. I wish it was spring so I could get outside and run around with her, but unfortunatly I live in Michigan and that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

WW is actually easier than you think. I'm on it now and in my opinion it's better than just counting calories because it takes into account other factors of weight loss, like fat and fiber intake. The points are easy to keep track of too, you dont have to write anything down. I have lost 13lbs on it so far in 4 weeks, got 18 more to go.

My daughter was the same way (now I can take her to the gym with me and leave her in the nursery, but she's almost 2). I got a DVD called TurboJamz that I would do in my living room while my daughter took her morning nap. I bought it used on Amazon for about $10, and you can find lots of different workout DVDs there. Do you have a local mall? You can do some fast-paced mall walking, or even push your daughter in a cart for a few laps around Wal-Mart. Every little bit helps! :) Good luck!

My Grandaughter tried Alli.. it worked some but she said she had to be ready to get to a restroom after eating as the food goes right thru and it goes NOW! So you might want to get some diapers too!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
