If we deprive ourselves all the time, we will say screw it and inhale things.. I plan on eating fair food this year, I plan on eating well on my vacation to Myrtle Beach..
Just don't let it become a habit like before..
Enjoy the twizzler.. You go girl!!!
Whenever I see `fat free`or `sugar free` I look to see what`s been added in its place.
Be very careful to reject items which use artificial sweeteners like aspartame because that item is in question and banned in places because it is harmful to your health.
Most times, when an item says less fat or fat free, there is an increased amount of sodium or salt, and that is not great for you either.
Always be on the lookout for trans fats. Yes I believe that there are some items in which there is a tiny amount found naturally, but in the majority of cases, you can avoid it.
Natural ordinary sugar is not bad for you. you can get sugar from your fruits naturally, but you don`t stop eating fruit.
With all the worries about artificial sweeteners, I have just decided to go with the occasional ordinary candy when I feel the urge.
My weakness has always been Werther`s butterscotch hard candies - it`s what I ate while I was quitting smoking. Now if I have one a week, it is enough.
For the twizzlers, they are OK usually. The link below is a review and it lists the contents.

When you look around online, many times you can find info on foods that can help with your decisions.
Here`s the Hershey`s site

And here`s the page with twizzler ingredient info:

Now, it`s very good to watch for the fat content in all your foods, but you also need to watch the sodium, carb, and sugar amounts.
It`s not always the fats that get to you and ruin your diet.
Also take the case with transfats: many products that say they are transfat free in fact do have transfat. A loophole in FDA rules allows any company whose product has less than .5 grams per serving to put "Transfat Free" on their label. Many companies reportioned their servings to fall under that rule. But if you look at the ingredients and if they contain "partially hydrogenated oil", of any source, the product has transfat regardless what they say on the package.
Without scrutiny, we can easily undermine our attempts at healthy eating.
AN EYEOPENER.
BUT, if you know the Weight Watchers' creed (I am a weight watcher, I will ALWAYS be a weight watcher) you have to relax once in awile or you not be able to stay the course long term. Some diets give you 1 or 2 days a week off. I fyou take all of the fun out, what's left?
Do not fall into the "sugar free" trap that JustBlue mentions. The sugar free Twizzlers contain corn syrup---a highly processed sugar. Sugar would be better and the only artificial sweetner fit for human consumption is Stevia.
Remember, the absolute fanatics don't actually live longer, it just seems that way.
