You have to eat breakfast. Its proven those who eat breakfast are thinner. But a good healthy breakfast and eat small every few hours. Protein and fiber will fill you up. Your biggest meal appears to be dinner but it should be breakfast or lunch. Keep dinner a lean protein and veggies. Don't eat carbs after lunch.
Make sure you are eating enough protein throughout the day.
It sounds like you need to plan to eat a small amount of something healthy late at night.
You might try eating a little healthy fat, from olive oil, nuts, or avocados. Healthy fats will also help you feel fuller. If I got gnawing hunger late at night, I would eat either half of an avocado or about 20 almonds. Or I might have some hummus on some whole wheat crackers, or cottage cheese on celery sticks.
Keep healthy snacks on hand and don't keep the bad stuff around. If it's not in the cupboard or freezer or wherever it is, you can't eat it.
Good Luck!
I agree that MOST people have some problem with eating at night. With me, it's anxiety. If I can't fall asleep, I start worrying. Next thing you know, I want to eat some carbs to "knock me out". Sometimes it helps to take slow, deep breaths and meditate or pray.
