33" = size 14 womens = size 13 juniors
32" = 12 = 11
31" = 10 = 9
30" = 8 = 7
29" = 6 = 5
28" = 4 = 3
27" = 2 = 1
26" = 0 = 00
The only part of that I'm not sure of is the Junior's, which obviously is a tighter fit in general. A women's 6 might actually be a juniors 7, etc.
If you are currently wearing a 15 and then you lose weight and go down to the next size available in the clothes you wear, you down one size. Sizes are usually 5/7/9/11/13/15 or 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, or maybe even 6/8/10/12/14.
You get the idea.
If you were always buying mostly size 15, then after some time with diet and exercise, you go to the store and find that the 15 is too big, what do you do? You try the next size down. If it fits, you have gone done one size.
