I worked out like 6 times last week and just physically exhausted myself. I haven't worked out prior to that in months. I do drink a lot of water but towards the end of the week started getting calf cramps n charlie horses and stiffness in joints. Is it possible from all the working out my potassium levels dropped that much??? Its 2 days later and my calves still hurt. I haven't worked out but eating bananas and drinking coconut water and lots of water.

Hope this helps.
Those warm ups and cool downs are great suggestions too!
I know this may sound really weird, but seriously it works... so much that in order to Prevent cramping during my marathons or triathlons I take about a tablespoon or two of dill pickle juice the day before any race.
