Once I eliminated sugars and wheat, I don't crave carbs. But every once in a while I'll slip, like 2 DQ soft chocolate med ice cream cones a day for 5 days, and an extra large one on the 6th day......just being human is so much fun...tee hee.

She said: When you want something you really love to eat, tell yourself, "I've eaten this before, I already know what it tastes like and I don't need to try it again." It seems silly, but it's helping. I keep saying that to myself when I want something and it's actually working!
The other thing I have fallen in love with is Spaghetti Squash. I made a huge bowl of pasta and spaghetti sauce the other day. my kids ate the pasta, I put sauce on the Squash and I felt perfectly happy with it. It's really good and you can put anything on it that you would put on regular pasta! Hang in there, you are not alone!

What a perfect way to describe the cravings - triggers. I can get my brain around that totally. Cravings - well they're something I give in to - but triggers can be waited out - this I know. And triggers I have control over as far as waiting them out.
