One of my favorite and standard lunches is a type of sandwich ..if I go out it's a subway turkey or club with lots of veggies. If at home I make a sandwich out of turkey or tuna on multi-grain or whole wheat. Usually with a side of cottage cheese. Lots of protien with low carbs. Either just water, or a coke zero
usually though just a plain old cheese sandwich(grilled) all sandwiches are i piece bread.
Or I have a grilled cheese sandwich. I found some bread at Super 1 that has 9 grams of carbs for two slices. It is the Sarah Lee whole wheat bread with honey. Then I try to make sure I have some kind of vegetables with ranch dip to go along with it.
Also for anyone looking for a different kind of omelet; we had chorizo & salsa omelets for breakfast the other morning. They were fairly spicy and very yummy.
I havent tried the bread yet. When I do I will let you know how it compares to the regular whole wheat bread.
