Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...
Here the normal range is that!
What I am inquiring about is, what is your normal range here in the States.
Cynthia
over 6.5 is getting to be pre diabetic, 7 fasting level is considered a diabetic diagnosis.
so I think the US diabetic reading is over 125.
It takes a bit of working out and there are some very informative American we sites out there.
As you know, since doing treatment I never did feel good after that, well the whole time I was diabetic, and my PCP didn't check me for it, since early 2007, so this is why I was so ill all the time.
Now I am alive and well, finally.
Thanks, for the reading that is what I was asking, but for some reason I wasn't understood.
The meter I am using is from Accu-Chek, Aviva.
So when I check my blood level in the morning, it should be between 4 & 6, when I eat I was told to wait 1.5 hour, then take it again, and it should be back in the normal level, if not well I take a walk and it regulates by the time I come back.
I am doing quite well, following a very strict diet, exercising, walking, drinking loads of water, and finally feel alive after all these years.
How are you feeling hun?
ps: Thanks to all who took interest in this post.
Love & Respect.
