Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...

I started out with once a day for a week and then added the second dose a week later.
I have a very sensitive stomach but was pleasantly surprised it did not effect me the way it does some folks.
My diabetes is under control (diagnosed 4 years ago) and I am going to drop my meds after the new year. I follow my meal plan to the letter, exercise, meditate, and have a positive outlook. My A1C's have been around 5.5 for the past 2.5 years. I consider myself pre diabetic. It doesn't mean I will go crazy and eat whatever......I will continue to follow my food plan and exercise to maintain or continue to do even better.
Everyone is different and probably will object to my going off my meds, but I am done with doctors who pop a pill for everything with no cure. Also......I don't know where we are going with the health care insurance and I'm already paying through the roof for coverage. I have had to take a different plan each year and always have to change doctors. So since diagnosis 4 years ago, I have gone through 4 doctors. Enough is enough already!
Ok....I'll get off my soap box.
Good luck and hopefully all these meds will be a thing of the past sooner than later.
