I try to make everything from scratch at this point.......it's expensive, but a must to get and stay healthy.
I feel your frustration cuz I'm going through this "misleading and trickery" as well.
Everyone metabolizes their food differently so what works for one may not work for the other.
I agree with MsBlank, fix your own foods, it is healthier and cheaper.
All fruit juices have natural fructose in them.
Get a good Carb Counter Book, that is what I do, it works for me and is helpful.
When I first started this journey reading labels etc, I got so frustrated that I almost walked out of the store leaving the cart, but I don't let things rent my mind for free. So I turned around, hoped no one saw me lol, and began.
You will also begin to notice that different brands will have different counts for things, it is surprising what you learn, so break away from your standard brands you may buy and read other brand labels also
Test, test test and learn what is OK to have, you cannot just eat plain foods as you will end up frustrated.
