Hey all,

I was just curious if anyone else is taking Onglyza. I went to the doctor yesterday, he took me off Actos, and put me on Onglyza. I am still to take the Metformin, but he increased my dosage from 500mg twice a day to 1000mg twice a day.

So, if you are taking it, please let me know if you have experienced any side effects or adverse reactions.

I Googled it and found a lot of info. it is fairly new and reports equate it to other meds on the market.
I would ask Dr. why this is better than some of the older meds that have been around a lot longer and the side effects are well known
