Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...

I was diagnosed with T2D about 2 1/2 years ago. I lost about 20 pounds and was doing great. Then, over the last year, I was extremely stressed out, so I gained back about 10 pounds and have not been really good about controlling my diet. I have been taking my meds (metforman and tradjenta), but my fasting numbers worry my. They range from 120-160. I was recently on prednisone and that really messed up my numbers. I am worried that my doctor will want to put me on insulin. I am going to start dieting again today and really trying to get my weight back down, but I am getting nervous. My last few bloodwork results were great on every level. My A1C has been around a 6.2 and all my other numbers have been great. I know my stress and diet have messed with my numbers and I also think my hormones are playing a part since I am peri-menopausal. Also, a recent eye exam was perfect - no issues.
I just kind of wanted to vent a bit and hope for some feedback as to what I could do better (Other than my diet and excercise).

I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...

Assessment: Measure your glucose one day and then follow the above 4 steps till next day and measure your glucose. You would see significant reduction in your glucose without any change in food. If you follow them for a month or two, it will keep improve your diabetic levels and most probably could able to cure type II diabetics gradually.
