i took my B S two hours after dinner it was at 120

second q i have is that how often do we change needles at my reli on from walmart i change may be once every month .

We are supposed to change needles every time we check our blood sugar. I change once a day, even if I check it twice. I've heard that the needles do get dull after a while and it starts to hurt. And for sanitary reasons it's best to use a new needle each time.

Every time I test I use a new needle. Lancets are the cheapest part of our routine. I use the drum lancet which is more convenient for me.

great numbers ray....the lancets dull each time you use them, hurting more and more, I'd say not go more than twice before changing. The walmart brand is very inexpensive

I change mine once a day or so. It is more forgetfulness than anything else. They do hurt a little more each time. Lancets are the only part of mine not covered by insurance, but they are not that expensive.

i dont change in month and they are ok my issue is with the numbers would that make a difference if we dont chnage the needle

using a used needle or not does not affect your blood.....using expired test strips now can cause the readings to be off depending how far expired.
