Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...

Walking is a great form of exercise and helps reduce stress.
I tend to have the "dawn effect" which sucks. My remedy is to drink a glass of water mixed with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. I use the store brand even though Briggs is recommended.
I suggest you talk to your doctor about it first......not many have heard of this solution, but it is working well for me and my doctor gave me a thumbs up since it is a small amount. My doctor actually thought it was genius and it has other health benefits (google it).
The only thing is either drink it with a straw or in my case, I gulp it and then brush my teeth or rinse my mouth right away as it can strip your enamel on your teeth.
Also, if you don't mix it with water, it could irritate your esophagus.
I'm not sure this is a good idea if you are on insulin.....again....talk with your doctor.
Still this does not take the place of watching your carb intake or exercise. It is to be used in conjunction with the other self care.
Good luck :)
