Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...
Do you feel better?
Since our daughter is hypoglycemic, we have always bought everything 100% whole wheat food, the pasta, cookies, bread, hamburger buns, and skim milk only, so it was pretty easy for me to just cut down on the food intake, and no more fatty foods.
Plus, started to walk with is a diabetic best friend.
Walking helps tremendously on getting that level down into the normal level.
Also the extra pounds that I had gained since doing my treatment, is melting off.
So yes, I am doing quite well.
Hope you get to regulate your blood level, I have many links that were sent to me, in order to learn as much as possible about this diabetes disease.
Love & Respect.
