I think that you should participate. These studies are important and I think that your doctor asking you shows that he has a level of confidence in you. I haven't participated in studies like this but I have already signed a paper that if they need someone to test something new on, then I am willing to do it. I truly believe that at one point, one of these studies will yield some results that are important to us and maybe even come up with a way to help a lot of people.
