I will, my Doc said in order for mine to be effective when the "peak" hits not to get it before the 21st of Oct. Every ones Flu dates are different depends where you live.

These are too dangerous to take and actually give many people the flu. I cannot take that risk. A guy that my husband worked with his wife died from it....no way. My sister in law got deathly ill from it and there are numerous articles verifying that they never are sure they even know ahead of time what the current strain will be. It is more $$$$ for the big pharmas and drs to suck from insurance.

A person has to read and be informed about all the stuff the medical profession shoves at them.

My Dr. is insisting that I take a flu shot. I refuse. There was a nurse in the mall that did blood pressures and she advised me not to get a flu shot. She knows my history with meds. She got a flu shot one year and it went wrong on her. She will never get a flu shot ever again. I won't either. I did get a pneumonia shot and I need to get a tetnus booster. I'm way over due for that and under the conditions I work I should have it but the damn thing hurts. Yes, I'm a wimp.

Everyone should get the Flu shot. Thousands of people die each year from NOT getting the flu shot.

I was in the hospital in 57 for 3 weeks, I had Influenza I almost died, it left scar tissue on my right lung. I have never missed a year since and I am still here at 81.

If you don't want to get the shot, that is your right to do so, but passing negative info on because you heard one person died from it is crazy talk. Talk about the millions of people that did not get the flu.

Grannie.....you and many others may have not gotten the flu anyway...shot or not. There is no way they can prove it helps due to that reason. But if someone dies or gets sick from after taking it that is reliable proof that it did not work and should not have been taken.

IMO....there are many unnecessary meds out there that the pharmacies and drs alike use scare tactics on people and that is wrong.

#5 you could also get hit by a truck, but your odds are much greater if you play in traffic.

do people have reactions from it, yes especially if allergic to eggs, can people die from the flu - yes but with diabetes the shot does help, your body cannot fight off illness, infections etc as a person without diabetes

yes we all take a risk when we take any meds, I would have been dead at 22 if doctors didn't know about appendicitis and was able to operate. I would have died at 25 if they didn't know about eptopic pregnancies. Shoot we all might have died when diagnosed with diabetes/and or the complications if we didn't have meds/insulin to help control so we could live longer and be as healthy as possible

Medicine has come a long way, and yes there are side effects, and yes some people do have complications but the odds to me do not stop me and others from taking meds.

We all have become adept in recognizing the side effects and if you have a good relationship with your doctor and trust them, then between the two of you, you will do fine and make the right choices in meds that will help

Guess it is up to each of us to determine what they want to put in their bodies. A person should be informed and not be swayed by the medical field or big pharma companies who stand to profit every time they bring something new out. One thing to remember this flu vaccine is only helping 50% or less of the people taking it anyway.

The above info from the CDC lets you know there are "weakened" live virus in most vaccines and in the spray vaccine they are live virus. They also say they never know for sure if they have the right vaccine for the flu virus for that year so that is a gamble.

Below is the ingredients in a flu shot. I am allergic big time to penicillin and sulfa so I would probably die from the shot. They do not even tell people that antibiotics are in the flu shot. Have to wonder if that is why people are getting immune to antibiotics too. Hmmm....could be.

Also, Formaldehyde is a poison in embalming the body for the funeral.
