seems like both chronic and immediate stress can cause increased blood sugar , depending on the person.
Now how to relieve the stress????
it takes time to let stress not tear you up, learn controlled breathing, try to do something you enjoy, such as a hobby, take a nice walk, etc
I'm in the sandwich generation of caring for my mom (parents for past 10 yrs) and my own family and kids. Causes a lot of stress with the medical problems with my mom.
I've tried the meditation, I can't keep my mind focused. I keep drifting off to something else. IT takes practice I'm sure. Not successful yet...
