I just bought the above named book. It has lots of information on diabetes and menus and recipes and even talks about the best restaurants if you "have" to go to one. I think it will be very helpful. I love to read. And I do research the different medical conditions I have. I want to be well informed, as sometimes doctors make mistakes.

I just picked up another one called "the glycemic index for dummies". It talks about glycemic index and glycemic load and has info on how that works with diabetes (though it's not a book specifically for diabetics). Good reading and it's helping me with food choices.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
