Any one have side effects take Celebrex? I heard it was taken off the market a few years back for causing heart attacks. Any one know it that is true?

my friend takes celebrex n is lucky she has no bad side effects. I took it about 3 yrs. ago it didn't help or hurt me. but I have heard about heart attacks from it

Clebrex has not been taken off the market , Viox was.
Celebrex helped me but had to go odd my kidney dr said it was contributing to heading toward kidney failure

Thnaks you I appreciated your input. Celebrex is new to me and so far so good. No side effects and I have been using it only if needed.

I think celebrex is one of those meds that you are supposed to keep taking because it takes time to get into your system

When you take celebrex. Be sure you do not have any kidney problems. if you do think twice it will contribute to kidney failure.

I was not told this when i was prescribed celebrex.

When I had a bacterial pneumonia I was on a ventilator my kidneys shut down.

The kidney SR took me off celevres and said I should never been put on it.

As Cowboy said it has caused heart attacks. Again Viox was much worse regarding the heart.
