Sometimes I will come home and cook me a egg, piece of sausage and some whole grain toast with some fig preserves, 1tsp and a glass of milk about 6oz..other times i will come home and just eat PB toast or a bowl of Cheerios, When it gets cold outside I will cook hot cereals.
I make waffles with the 7 grain mixture (bisquick with grains added) and freeze some and heat in the toaster, great with berries.
I add pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice to oatmeal, I don't know if that helps with #'s or not, but I've never really had a problem after eating it.
