If a prescribed drug has to be advertised on television I don't want it.
Most all of them go through a spiel of warning us about the side effects, then, atn the bottom you will see in fine print even more warnings.
I'm 57 years old and seen too many advertised prescribed drugs that end up in lawsuits eventually...not all but a few. Money is made so they can afford to pay.
I believe if one's doctor brings up the usage of it first then perhaps it is okay but to ask them about using it probably helps to make oneself a guinea pig.
Again, just my opinion.
that research has been done in the last 6 years that may indicate that both of those meds 'may' make cells "insulin resistant".
I myself have pretty much stopped both. I now take Red Yeast Rice, which one of my Doc's said "is a statin". (maybe milder)
For the Depression, I still take the pills maybe about once a week, and then rely on my little DOVE dark choc. squares - which I will have 1 or 2 per day. But stay away from the lighter milk choc. - it is not good for the sugars........ :)
