Diabetes Type 2 Support Group
Type 2 Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce enough insulin or does not make efficient use of it. Insulin is a hormone needed to convert food into glucose, a sugar that the body uses for energy. Without enough insulin, glucose can accumulate in the blood, and can cause serious health problems such as heart disease and strokes and organ damage...

Two weeks ago I went to the diabetes care clinic. I told my new doctor that I wasn't thirsty at all anymore. Like I'm literally forcing myself to drink water and the only time I know my body needs it is when my throat finally cuts out and becomes almost sore.
I started having palpatations , and when I wake up from sleep ( I sleep 4 hours at a time) it's like jumping out of a sped up dream and I have heart palpatations. My suger will be between 100 and 130 waking.
I have them occasionally during the day.
I went to the doctor today and found out I lost 11 pounds in 2 weeks. And sense the palpatations just stared a couple days ago- I told her about them and the none thirst and that I haven't been exersising because I haven't felt good.
There not sure what the problem is - because all my test results were fantastic. My A1c was even 5.7. Which I geuss is a good thing.
I went back on my blood pressure medication today -I told her I was cause it was the only thing I could think of to do. She said my blood pressure is actually on the lower side of good.
She said hydrate alot and if I still have problems I should get my thyroid tested.
I was just wondering if anyone had gone through something similar. And maybe it was there thyroid too -or somethjng else?

I had gone to the grocery store. When I wheeled my cartback to my car I just stool there a minute. A few spacesaway a Tesla Cyber truck was parked. I had seen it on theroad a few times for a few seconds. But not close up.It looked like it belonged to 2126 and not 2026. I wasgoing to take a picture of the car but the owners cameback and drove away. It was an ordinary middle age...

Jody - the thing is. I only drink water. I gave up Soda sense before I was diabetic. I use to steal an occasional sip from my mom. The only other thing I drink is Capri son with 35% less suger and that's usually when we go on trips to disney or some place I'll be active a lot.
It's just water but I feel like puking when I drink it. Like its too much. But I force myself to drink it and the other day I spit the last part of it up.
My son's grandmother used to have major swings in her blood sugar highs and lows (tho never that low).. She would get confused usually.
Hypoglycemia is what comes to mind, but IDK. I don't have that problem. I don't want that problem.
Well I hit a button and lost half of what I was going to say.. So I"ll just post this before I lose it too.. Hope you're feeling better and your numbers are levelling out.
