Good for you telling the doctor to let you try by diet and exercise first, some doctors want to immediately gives meds. It can be done by diet and exercise, many have and still do. I did for the first 10 years of this, now I am only one 500mg o metformin which is enough to just give me the boost needed.
Keep coming back as often as you need because there are great people here who have more experience than I and we will all help you through.Please dont feel that you are ever alone..
