Keep checking your blood sugar hourly and keeping records of your levels. Also, keep checking for ketones and contact a doctor or nurse if any are detected.
It is a good idea to try and keep eating if you can but always check blood sugars and take insulin as advised by your doctor/nurse. Do not have sugary drinks or energy drinks to replace food, especially without taking checking your blood sugar and taking insulin.
If you are very thirsty, nauseous, or urinating frequently, go in to see a doctor immediately.
