Little Johnny loved clowns. He loved clowns so much it was to the point of being obsessed. He had clown sheets, clown posters on his bedroom walls, toy clowns, clown pjs, clown slippers, a clown lunch box, you name it. He also talked about clowns all the time, too. Boy he loved clowns!
One day at the dinner table his father said, I have a surprise for you Johnny. What is it? Johnny asked. Is it a clown? Boy I hope its a clown.
Its even better than a clown. said his father. The circus is in town and we have tickets for tonights show!
Oh boy! cried Johnny. Now Ill get to see a REAL clown!
Johnny and his father went to the circus and were lucky enough to get a front row seat. Johnny waited patiently through all the acts until a little red car came into the center ring and out popped clown after clown after clown. Johnny could hardly contain his excitement. The biggest and funniest clown asked for a volunteer from the audience and Johnny raised his hand high. Pick me, pick me please!! The clown picked Johnny and with a huge smile on his face he walked up to the clown. It felt like he was floating, he was that happy.
The clown said, Whats your name son? My name is Johnny. He replied. So Johnny, are you a horses head? No, said Johnny, laughing. Im not a horses head. Are you a horses stomach? asked the clown. No, Im not a horses stomach, thats silly said Johnny, still laughing. Then you must be the horses ASS! Said the clown. And the whole crowd roared with laughter. Johnny couldnt believe it. The clown made a fool of him. His face turned beat red, he had never been so humiliated in his life!
Johnny ran from the circus tent and cried all the way home. He went to his room and ripped all the clown posters off his walls and ripped them to shreds. He tore every clown doll apart and cut up all his clown sheets. He fell on his bed sobbing and refused to let his parents in to talk to him. As the days went by Johnnys anger at the clown grew. His parents were worried about him and talked about getting him some help. He loved his parents and didnt want them to worry so he put on a happy face for them but he never forgot what the clown did to him. Every day, in secret, he plotted his revenge. He spent every moment he could thinking and planning the best way to get back at that clown.
Johnny grew into a man, married and had kids of his own but he never gave up on his plan for revenge against the clown. One day his kids showed him a poster for the circus and asked if he would take them. The poster showed a picture of the clown who had humiliated him. He saw red but he calmly told his kids, no, he would not be able to take them to the circus. He did plan on going though. He had his plan of revenge and he knew this would be his night to carry out that plan. After all these years he would finally get his revenge. He couldnt wait. That clown was going to be sorry he ever met Johnny.
He got to the circus and sat in the front row. He waited patiently for the clowns to come out, all the while saying to himself, Finally, I get my revenge. I have come up with the perfect revenge and tonight Im going to get that clown. When the clown finally came out Johnny was surprised it was the same clown that made a fool of him so many years ago. Even better Johnny thought. This is it, that clown will be so sorry! The clown asked for a volunteer from the audience and Johnny calmly raised his hand. The clown chose him and Johnny walked slowly toward him thinking At last! My years of planning the perfect revenge are going to pay off tonight! The clown asked him his name. My name is John, he said. Are you a horses head? The clown asked. No, I am not said Johnny, very seriously. Are you a horses stomach? The clown asked. No, I am not, Johnny said, again very seriously. Then you must be a horses ASS! Said the clown and the crowd laughed. Johnny could hardly contain himself. This was his moment. He got right in the clowns face and stared right into his eyes and yelled FUCK YOU CLOWN!
