Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
it's just 8:00 in the morning and I'm already thinking of ways to hang myself the school bathroom. This whole morning consisted of my mom yelling at me because my brother's car wouldn't start and then the whole 15-minute car ride to school was her telling me that I'm shapeless round, have no personality, I'm gonna die of diabetes if I don't stop eating because of I'm so fat and useless. Then, she proceeded to tell me how beautiful she is and then ask me why I cant look like her. She says she doesn't care if I starve my self as long I lose weight. If anyone knows of any painless ways to take a life please let me know, thanks.

Can't wait to burn my pumpkin spice candle! National Coffee Day is coming up on the 29th so I hope to score up on a free coffee.

Just don't do it, it's not worth it many people will miss you even your mother no matter how awful she is. Everyone has a heart weather they show it or not, but taking your life over a 15 min ride is far from worth it.
I'm going to let you know I had to "starve" myself in the marine core to get into a combat ready state. Another example is when wrestlers have to be a certain weight to be put into a bracket.
But I think you should call this number, I've called before and they're really nice 1-800-273-8255
Anyways I hope this helps in some sort of way. ((Hugs))
People who dump their excess emotional garbage on others, like your mother is doing, are mentally unhealthy people. Don't allow her to make her problem by believing that load of crap. You are young and need to be aware that as humans our temporal lobe does not fully develop until we're in our early 20's. Around that time you will be able to see things more clearly for what they were.
In the meantime, try to talk to a school counselor, call a crisis hotline, talk to people in your life who actually care about you and maybe try to get a break in the summer by visiting relatives or even see if you can stay with your grandparents. Your mother truly lacks the ability to see the damage she's doing to you, so it's up to you to protect yourself. Develop friendships with other young people who understand what you're going through and read everything you can on surviving mental abuse. You'll eventually see that if you were skinny as a bean pole, she'd be harping on about something else.
Don't make decisions you can't take back. Live now for the time when you are free to do your own bidding. Dull the by talking about it with friends and a counselor you can trust, take up a hobby, or get lost in fictional novels. Don't resort to numbing it with drugs or alcohol and whatever you do, don't throw in the towel!
I'm a mother of three. We moms get stressed out and sometimes we say (and do) ignorant things. Understand - it's not a reflection on YOU. It's a reflection on US and something that is missing (or even broken) inside. So, sometimes kids have to overlook how parents react - especially if they call their children names (which, by the way, is completely unacceptable and largely filled with untruths). So, here is what I tell my children in regards to suicide...
DON'T DO IT.
See, here's the thing. So long as you're breathing - so long as you're alive and kicking - you've always got options. There will always be more (more money, another girlfriend/boyfriend, new car, etc.). So long as you're alive, you have the opportunity to make that day better for yourself. And one day, you'll even be grown and out of the house so you won't have to listen to your mother's verbal abuse every again. However, if you end your life, then you end all opportunities to ever have a better ending. And don't you want that "happily ever after" kind of ending? Believe it or not, they really do exist. You just need to give yourself the opportunity to find it. So, stick around and do "the hard work." Better yourself in the ways YOU think are appropriate and necessary, and plan for that day when you're moving out and making the life you want come true.
Best of luck to you yayornay. Have faith in yourself and all you do.
