Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Hi,
I just wanted to make a quick post and get something off of my chest.
I have had really severe depression in the past and it was bad.
I found a support group and a coach/therapist that has made a huge difference in my life. I worked with the coach pretty extensively for about four months, and it changed my life. Now, I attend his group and see him occasionally at his office.
Something disturbing happened, though. One of his friends was co-hosting his group and was trying to get trained to be a full-fledged coach himself. This person was on our call list. After a while, the co/substitute host started calling me a lot, asking me to do things, and even texted me in the middle of the night. I was getting scared away. He kept asking me to go out and do things. I didn't like it.
One of the group members said to say something to the lead person (my coach). I was afraid and hesitant. Finally, I did cave and hang out with the guy and it was a disaster. He, along with the group he invited, were extremely drunk and he was probably on drugs. He was talking total nonsense, putting down our group and our process, and trying to recruit me out of it, saying 'did I want to go to the next level.' I was so scared. I quit returning his calls after that.
I capitulated and told my coach what happened in my following session with him. He was surprised. I wonder if I made the right decision by telling him, and I have not heard from him. I am scared that telling him what happened jeapordized the relationship I have with my coach. I was pretty worried that if the man was confronted, that he would badmouth me to my coach, and try to ruin my relationship with him. I have not heard back from my coach, but have left him a couple of messages. I hope things are ok.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
