Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Baseball spring training is just around the corner so it's one day closer to Spring!!!
Also in the winter I add another anti-depressant and another anti-psychotic to my mix and then in the summer take them out of the mix.
I don't get it from lack of light. I suffer when the pool gets covered. Usually means my outdoor days are numbered. This year has been pretty good for me.
If you can, open your drapes daily and get outside for little bits of natural light
COLD WEATHER AFFECTS BODY AND BRAIN FUNCTION.
I LOSE MY APPETITE EVERY WINTER.
I GAIN IT BACK EVERY SUMMER.
I HAD BRAIN SURGERY SO I M HIGHLY AFFECTED.
I MOST HAVE MY HEAD COVERED IN COLD WEATHER.
I USE A HEATING BLANKET BECAUSE IF MY BODY GETS TOO COLD I FEEL LIKE I M HAVING BODY SHOCKS.
EVEN UP NORTH I WAS SLIGHTLY DEPRESSED IN WINTER.
I DIDNT KNOW THEN HOW SERIOUS THIS WOULD GET.
I M SO GLAD WE LIVE DOWN SOUTH.
IF I LIVED UP THERE, I WOULD B HOUSEBOUND FROM THE COLD.
THE FREEZING COLD UP THERE DIDNT MAKE ME AS DEPRESSED AS I HAVE BEEN DOWN HERE.
