about anything?

I can't get interested in or focused on anything...

I have so much that I have to do...but I don't care about anything....

I don't have any feelings....except for anxiousness and anger....

I'm angry at myself...and at the world....and at people....never much liked people...but now I don't think I even like myself...I mean I am a person...but I'm sitting here unable to focus on anything but how I don't have any feelings...WHY?

and another thing...I feel like my blood is boiling? ...does anyone else feel like that...it's not burning or hot or nothing like that ...it just feels like something rushing through my veins....like boiling water but it's not hot....maybe more like a rushing rapids river?

couldnt sleep last night...had racing thoughts about what I need to do...and how I was going to do it starting today....but then I finally fell asleep after six hours of tossing and turning....only to be woken up first by my husband going off to work...then by some stupid inconsiderate mexicans cutting down trees in the lot behind my house...I mean really? I was finally able to go back to sleep for a few hours...then I woke up again to the sound of that damn chainsaw...

I walk around looking at all the crap I have to do at home and I just get this overwhelming feeling of anxiousness...I can't do it ....nothing...so I come sit at my desk...trying to focus on something ...anything...but I can't ....now I'm sitting here writing this post and I feel like crap...

soon my husband will be home and he's going to fuss and moan because I haven't done anything...again....GOD....

I've been like this for over a month actually longer...but I've been in denial....I just don't know what to do....and I don't care....

I don't care about anything...I just want to be left alone

Hey...very sorry you're feeling this way...I wish I had answers, but the only thing that comes to mind is this sounds really classic...not that that makes it any easier, of course...but I have really bad anxiety and the blood-rushing feeling you describe is almost always a part of my panic attacks...are you seeing somebody? That might be a place to start...either way, wishing you relief and peace

Friends don't leave friends in a stew like this. You don't have to care about something in order to DO it. From among the racing thoughts, is there one that is slow enough to catch? Is there one thing you could zero on, and then just stick to it until you get it finished? When my blood was racing as fast as my thoughts, I did find that I could still move my muscles, and that there were some pretty basic things I could get done, if I just slogged it out. So I did those things. Later, I learned that we all do what we can, with what we have, where we are. I am sharing that with you in hope that you may be able to use it.

Not caring is depression, it sounds like you've given up. It doesn't really sound like you're sad, which is how I am as a depressed person, and like you dreading chores taking care if responsibilities, even listening to my children, but I don't understand the anger as an adult.

It almost sounds like something chemical. For instance, my fianc has a special needs stepson who will call his sister a whore or me a bitch or say get the fuck out if the way if the mood strikes. He's just angry and depressed and IMO an asshole. But now that he's properly medicated, the anger has subsided.

You have to keep trying until you can find help if you think medicine can help, I kno you've tried many I'm the past to no Avail, but you shouldn't have to be miserable, not fair to Ou or your family

I can sure relate! You are not alone. I've been this way for 2.5 years! I fear the only thing left to do...is to start doing! A little bit at a time. Way too much to do, gotta take it in bite size pieces or I'll never get out of bed. I'm sorry you or anybody has to go through apathy. I hope you start to feel better soon. God bless

This post is exactly how I feel. and the same thing happens. I wish I could just check out. I try to call myself lazy like maybe as motivation? but that is just me putting myself down, which I have an issue with so it doesnt work. Only makes it worst. Hope it gets better.

This really is depression speaking. Perhaps you need a med tweak? Something that really helps me is just to do one thing every day. I don't have to care, just do it. After a while, do a few more things. Eventually, I start feeling I have accomplished something.

Isolating and feeling bad - pity parties, just make it worse for me. But you did come here, so that shows you are reaching out for help. That is a very good thing!

I think you accomplished your one thing for the day!

Winter is a rough season for depression. If you aren't on medication, maybe you should see a doctor. I know what you feel like - it is depression.

You might try a light box....I've heard it helps.
