Depression Support Group

You could just try to get out and about more if it's just becoming more to yourself that's happening.. it's a natural response to feeling down.
For me, the fact that she was so strict when I was a child is a barrier between us. I do not feel 100% comfortable with her as an adult. I am not angry at her.. yet, being with her seems draining to me.
Perhaps the depression makes it more difficult, but it was a problem before I became depressed, so it's not 100% the problem. I was raised strict Catholic and always felt "guilt" if I was not the perfect daughter.
These may not be true with your situation, but yours struck me, because I am having lunch with my mom tomorrow and taking her to Walmart (ugh).. and have that little feeling of dread again. I'm sure I will have the desire to cancel in the morning, but will not..
