Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

You are not dead inside. You emotions are blocked to protect you, it’s just figuring out why and how to find emotional/distress tolerance. Suicide is never an option. It just robs you of the possibility of recovery and A life worth living.
Do you have a therapist? Have you tried DBT? You might consider it.
It might not hurt to get a physical either, just to make sure you don't have some medical condition that is behind some of this. Just having a clean bill of health will be a relief, and if there's a problem, you will have a direction to take to fix it.
In the meantime, repression is a coping mechanism, so you're not being abnormal. It can help us get through rough patches, and you are so young, with a whole life ahead of you. Believe me, it might not seem like it now, but this is just a blip on the radar.
Take care of your physical health and your mind will improve. You don't have to become religious, but try volunteering a few hours a week at your local church or food bank. Join a Meetup group.
Find the will to kick yourself in the butt and accomplish something ( even a small thing ) every day, whether you feel like it or not. It's called self-discipline. It takes practice. It's part of fully maturing, and although we all have problems with it sometimes, I believe you have the potential to get very good at it, and it will open new opportunities for you.
Maybe consider taking some educational courses or an apprenticeship for something you're interested in doing. It might sound stupid, but salons take-on apprentices, and if you get good at it, you can make a lot more money than you imagine. There's a reason the book is called "The wealthy barber". Start saving now and look ahead to your future. it can be as bright as you want to make it.
I feel dead inside. Like an emptiness I can ever fill. A numbness that opens at times and lets me fall deeper in the hole but doesn’t let me see a light.
I feel like a burden to everyone and more worthless everyday. I can’t work anymore. I find myself sitting here alone. Feeling nothing. And I want to know how you do feel something again.
I’m right there with you if you want to talk more
