Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The big picture seems so fuzzy to me. What matters most? God, family, me? I have searched so long for answers but I have never found them. Maybe its love maybe its purpose. I hope all of you find it somehow and its explained to me before it is too late.
My friend here on DS have shown that the shadows of my demons that haunt me prove that the light exists at the end of the tunnel. Without light, those shadows cannot exist.
A big thing I hold on to is that if I am suffering, maybe someone else will not. I would not wish what I go through on my worst enemy. Not even my abuser.
maybe the meaning in life isn't found in "the big picture"...but the portion that is YOUR life and the legacy you leave behind.
