Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

...and fully understanding the situations are completely different, everybody's are...
...get up and just get out of the house...shake up your routine...instead of plodding through chores or something you always do, go do something fun that's purely and utterly pointless EXCEPT for shifting your perspective...take a walk, go to the zoo, take a day trip to a town nearby you've never been to before...pretty much anything, just shake things up in a good way...
...you mention anxiety and depression but don't mention which you have medications for...for me, anxiety medications literally saved my life and got me back out into the world, years ago...now I isolate for different reasons but still, they're something to explore...
...do you exercise?...I do a quick little dancer's stretching routine each day and it helps a lot...nothing huge, no heart-rate monitors or anything, just getting all that stagnant blood moving (some fields of medicine believe that getting the blood moving does more than just increase oxygen, which is proven to increase mood by western medicine, but also literally moves 'stagnant' thought processes and the chemicals they produce through and out of our bodies, and I'm inclined to believe it based on my experiences)...just a thought...
But yeah, I do agree with what's been said that if you feel you need the ER, go there...it's what it's there for, after all...talk with a doctor you trust...switching if necessary...about all of this...wishing you a speedy deliverance from that pit...been there, and it sucks...peace and lights to ya
Without knowing exactly what your life and routines are like there's not much that someone can say. The only advise I can give is that there is a problem in whatever pattern your life is in at the moment.
If you can implement a change I think it would be a good thing. Maybe get a new job, move to a different city, I don't know what your options are. It could even be something as silly as taking a different route to work or trying a new hobby.
I hope you can find the change that you need in your life.
Best of luck.
No worries...I'm not doing much better...but I'm not worse either... Just the same I guess...
and I don't get offended very easily...so no worries about that either...
Right now, I think I'm just angry...angry at myself...but I appreciate y'all trying to help me...thanks!
