Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
A paramedic cannot legally allow someone who's not in their right state of mind to say they don't want to go on the ambulance. They just have to go.
In some states you can legally consent to sex at 17 but within a few years difference. I don't know your laws but if you are too young or he is too old you might not legally be allowed to say yes
And if you said no at any point then you did not consent
And a court may say that for any of these reasons it was rape because you were coerced
Get away from both of these people and message me if you want to talk
So if you wanted to pursue a legal recourse that would be it. You didn't say no or stop during the sexual act according to your post.....and although you say you didn't want to do it, you did so he didn't rape you.
You need to find the coping skills to get over the 'saying whatever it takes to please others' thing, because that will just continue to get you into situations you don't want to be it. As for the girl, I'd just act like she doesn't exist because she sure wasn't a friend to you.
If you have a Therapist I would talk to them and let them help you work through this, if you don't perhaps a school counselor. You have to work it through in your head and try to deal with it and let it go, so it doesn't continue to have power over you. Try to stay away from these 2 people and stop agreeing to do things you don't want to just to please others.
"Each U.S. state (and the District of Columbia) has its own age of consent. Currently state laws set the age of consent at 16, 17, or 18. The most common age is 16."

>>when I declined he made me feel bad
>>that girl friend kept trying badgering me to do it until I agreed.
>>he still kept questioning me and making me feel bad
>>I didn't want to do this at all from the get go. But I was too scared to make people upset with me..
>> have a hard time saying no,
>>want to try and please everyone
>>What should I do to get over this?
I don't mean to be 'short'. At 17, you naturally have a lot to learn. This will do you well in your coming years. My answer ..... fix all of the above. As an individual, you have many 'rights'. You can learn what those are ... and when people try to ignore your rights, you will know what to do. Basically, never give up your 'rights'.
