I only experienced good side effects - weight loss and increased (but not too much) sex drive - on wellbutrin.

I didn't experience weight loss...not fair (with a pout!) I have actually had no side effects, so that is good.

I took it for awhile. doc said it would help with energy level. what a liar. nope, made it worse. gross to that drug. sorry

ok, well, I have been on it since Nov. 06.

The only side effect that I have noticed, is shaky hands.

...that is only for the first 2 weeks or so.
I also have had dry mouth, and some unusual dreams.

I consider those side effects SO worth the GOOD things that I have felt.

My suicidal thoughts are NOT THERE anymore.

AND I have quit smoking cigarettes.

Needless to say, I am quite happy with my medication.

wellbutrin, can make you a little hyper so i think you should take it in the morning...also....dry mouth....lots of people have done really well on this drug.....

Loss of appetite (good)
Sexual issues (bad) though it has less chance of this then all the other antidepressants.

I just got put on Wellbutrin SR. Two of the main side effects are headaches and nausea, but they usually pass after a week or so. I took the same medication before and I had no weight gain and more energy.

I am trying wellbutrin after my move, I am on celexa and ativan I still have anxiety at times and a big weight gain from celexa. I am very nervous about trying wellbutrin xl because i have read so many horror stories, but i have been on celexa for 10 yrs and its not working anymore any advice pls, thx

My two cents, Celaxa there whas no sexual function, but wellbutrin didn't bother me. That almost cured depression overnight!!!-just kidding, just my experience..

i was on welbutrin for some time.. i experienced weight gain.. major carbohydrate cravings... I have tried many different meds and they all seem to help with my functioning but alas, I am neither happy nor sad.. more or less in limbo.. have been off it for 3+ yrs and now thinking of going back on something.. not sure what yet.. someone told me to look into TMS.. anyone experience that.. some sort of magnetic stimulation..supposed to work on stubborn depression not relived by meds..would love any input

A physician at my previous employer was writing Welbutrin scripts to aide in employee smoking cessation. I took them for weight loss. I experienced mild tremors and didn't take them for very long.

I checked on line and read the list of side effects. The only thing I had after taking Wellbutrin for years is a total removal of my craving for nicotine. It's actually not a side effect because Wellbutrin and Zyban are basically the same. Zyban is a treatment option for smoking cessation. So basically I've had no side effects.

I've been on Wellbutrin XL for a year now and have lost 53 pounds and have improved energy. I was on Prozac and had gained weight on it. I do have dry mouth on the Wellbutrin XL but I find if I chew sugarless gum it really helps a lot. I have regained my sex drive that Prozac had caused to vanish.
