I think this encounter has made you realize that you actually DO want to have sex after not having it for a while. So maybe that's a good thing! Whether or not this guy is the right person to have it with (safety concerns, etc) at least he has brought up some feelings that are worth investigating. You don't need to feel weird about it. Cindy, I understand everyone's concern, and to some extent I agree with them that you are taking a huge risk by making this decision. I have to tell you I've taken some huge risks lately, as has my best friend. Hooking up with guys downtown to score drugs from. This has led to my best friend getting raped at knifepoint. What scares me is you don't know what this guy fantasizes about. He could get off by hurting you, and being a rape victim, I know you don't want to be hurt. You did mention it was a destructive desire. Knowing, part of you feels that it is harmful to yourself. I am not judging. Trust me I've had anonymous sex. I just worry that you do not know the intentions of this man. If you do this, PLEASE do not take a purse, he may be a drug addict just looking for someone to have sex with and rip off. He may not appear to be so. But trust me, they are everywhere. I never in a million years imaging myself in this position, but sometimes shit happens and we end up where we don't want to be by taking risks such as these. I doubt that you are truly homely. Society makes us feel "ugly" when we are not. The brainwashing is subtle. I know that what society says about weight is a lie because I know several people in my life who are large who are attractive and who have wonderful partners who love them dearly. As a matter of fact, my own husband is what society calls "big."
