WAS IT WRONG OF ME TO HANG UP THE PHONE AND SAY I'LL CALL YA LATER WHEN MY EX SAID HE TOOK HIS SLEEPING PILLS? IF THIS WOULD'VE HAPPENED LAST WEEK I TOTALLY WOULD'VE STAYED ON THE PHONE AND ARGUED OR CALLED ONE OF HIS FRIENDS.... LATELY I JUST THINK MY GIVE A DAMN IS BUSTED ! AND YEAH MIGHT BE HAVING HIS BABY BUT DANG IT- I'M EMOTIONALLY EXHAUSTED AND SOMETHING HAS GOT TO GIVE BEFORE I FRIGGIN BREAK ! YES I SHOULD STOP TALKING TO HIM- BUT HE HAS A HOLD ON ME AND I CAN'T BREAK FREE ! AHHHHHHHHH! SORRY JUST NEEDED TO VENT TODAY... STILL TAKING OFFERS ON SHOOTING ME IN THE HEAD INCASE ANYONE IS INTERESTED...

dunno the situation but if he's an ex harassing you putting the phone down probably a good idea and that pill thing sounds a wee bit like emotional blackmail. If he does that you call the ambulance and send it to his place call his bluff. And nah not in the mood for the shootage today thanks ;)

Hun you are in no way liable for other peoples decisions. If your ex wants to kill himself, then in the long run, there is nothing you or anybody else can do; HE is an adult, therefore is liable for HIS actions.

yes, I agree with doing something very positive like calling the ambulance. It does honestly sound like emotional blackmail - or, he wouldnt be calling you, would he, he would just take the tablets and be done with it. (I do know that is not always so - but it often is...*sigh*.) Admittedly it is a call for help as well, but let him call someone else for help and stop putting so much pressure on YOU....hguzz sweetie - be strong..:)

Send the cops to his house. Let them deal with his drama, and if he was bluffing, he'll be the one having to explain his actions now, won't he? If he wasn't bluffing, then he'll get the help he needs, and you won't have to get involved. Everyone wins here.

i hear ya- i hope i'm not either- but i fear i am- i finally got the courage to tell my sis and instead of supporting me- she says- are u trying to kill me ! and so i went to my room and cried alone......
