It seems very difficult to get competent mental health service in the USA. Sad, but true. Try praying. Sorry, that's all I got.

I am sorry to hear about your long term illness and the illnesses of your parents. It's very difficult to watch your parents go down hill and there is nothing you can do. Please don't do anything to harm yourself. If you feel close to doing something, please call the suicide hotline. Maybe you could search for a new doctor and counselor or therapist. Ask your medical doctor to refer you, My prayers are with you.

Life can be a bit** right? Unfortunately I have a 27 yr old and 18 yr old son who don't take well to me wanting to kill myself, and believe me there are very few days that I want to live. I just don't get the luxury of destroying my children, so until my crappy ass body that has went through 30 surgeries in the last 18 years kills me, I'm stuck here. The upside, I have great kids.

Your mom is going through a living hell of Parkinson's Disease, your dad is living with Dementia.....I think you have to buck up and live. Have you tried calling Social Services and asking about Mental Health Services for your County/City?
