IS ANYONE ON VENLAFAXINE ? HOW MUCH R U ON ? I BEEN ON THIS FOR YEARS & WHEN I FELT LOW I PUT THEM UP & WHEN I FEEL OK I WENT TO A LOWER DOSE BUT THIS TIME MY DOCTOR WILL ONLY LET ME HAVE UP TO 225MG. HE PUT ME ON A NEW TABLET YESTERDAY HAD TO REDUCE THE VENLAFAXINE & TAKE MY FIRST 1 LAST NITE BUT AFTER TAKING IT I FAINTED & FEELS REAL ILL. WHY DO THEY NEED TO MESS WITH YA TABLETS. IT SAYS I CAN GO UP TO 375MG ON THE LEAFLET SO WHY HE SAYING I CANT ??

Your body has to get use to certain levels before going up to a higher dose. I'm on Venlafaxine too and I find it better to follow my doctor's advice and stay on the levels she's told me to. If things aren't working, I tell her and we discuss what to do next. Definitely tell your doctor about the fainting and feeling real ill. That's not normal so communicate it to you doctor.

Yes its effexor an antidepressant its an SNRI like cymbalta helps for depression and pain. Work great but everyone is different. Stay in touch with your dr if you dont feel good on it it does take almost a month for your body to get used to it,

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
