first thank everyone that helped me through the other night


as for my relationship with her... its over and after taking some time away from her for a bit I talked to her tonight... told her exactly why I think it came to this and she denies most of it but its way too much for us to go on so its better we stop the on again off again thing and just see it for what it really is... I said dispite what happened my feelings were real and the dream of being with you was real but the trubble between us is real too and I dont see it going away


I guess she got angry and started saying well she is gonna eventually leave him and eventually find other guys that would treat me better than both of you


I said well goodluck with that and said my part was real and Im sad that it didnt work out... wished her luck then left the conversation


Im not gonna lie this did hurt me a lot... it will take some time to get over this

Breakups are always hard ... but from what you post, I think you did the right thing. Finding the 'most' right partner is hard to do ... but we SURE don't want to have one that does not bring us adequate happiness.

I think you did the right thing for yourself. Of course it will take time to get over the relationship you had together. You are moving in the right direction. Good Luck.

I'm with these two...it just wasn't working out...LDRs are hard, and it was clearly putting a strain on you. So yeah, you did the right thing. Time heals all wounds, and you always got people here to fall back on when you need to :)

help me... just the last few hours I've been fighting the urge to message her and try and work things out... I feel so lost... feels like the more time goes by the more it hurts... I took a nap and woke up wanting her back... any of you know a social group or game or something to take my mind off her... I know what I did was the right thing but why does it feel so wrong now

Try to distract yourself somehow. Don't give in. You know you are doing the right thing. Do you like to read? Do you have a basketball you could go shoot some hoops? You'll think of something.

You can do way better than this. Go visit your local library and scope out the girl next door talent. Find someone who is single, cheerful, and happy inside herself. And can cook. Get someone who can cook...
