Just wanted to update everyone on Josh's progress. This first week of chemo they gave him small doses to make sure he could tolerate it. Then next week they will give him big doses. The good news is the mass in his throat is shrinking so the chemo is working. Also he has been able to eat and drink today for the first time in two weeks so they were able to take out the I.V. Also it turns out that this mass in his throat was a blessing in disguise. If he had not had this mass in his throat it would have taken a lot longer to diagnose the cancer in his bone marrow as we would not have realized that there was anything wrong with Josh other than the fact that he was tired. Also want to thank everyone for their prayers. And again, thank you all for your support! Because we had so much support from family and friends, my depression has not gotten any worse as a result of Josh's cancer. Yes I have been sad and cried the first few days, but my illness is no worse which is truly miraculous.
