In the flow of numbers, Unit, tens then hundred is the accepted rule so why is it American dates lead with the month? I never understood this, so if anyone has an answer, that would be great!

I like to split the year in half and put the time of day between the month and day just to fuck everyone up ;)

oby ive had this same argument many times on here haha. im ok at translating dates like 11/17/11 but ones like 2/5/11 confuse me to death.
i also love how yanks think we all the the british accents portrayed on tv haha. only mp's and royalty and boarding school kids talk like that. not sure u would ever see a scouser in a hollywood film lol
