I'm new here and I can tell you I'm depressed and lonely. I lost my dad, mom and wife in in a 4 year period. My wife in 2016. This year I have found my self thinking this is it. I'm going to live the last 40 years of my life alone and depressed. I just need to stay strong for my son and ignore how I feel he is more important than me right now. I dont have any friends, my life revolved around my family and when she passed so did all of our friends. That is a short version... I figured I would talk to someone other than a counselor they are to expensive.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. Its sound like you had a good relationship with your wife and I think she would want you to be happy. So hopefully you can make some friends and perhaps someone to go out with.
