WHATS YOUR TRIGGER?
Ok, I have found that I'm exteremley triggered by anyone yelling at me. Sets my head spinning and if I can't get away from it watch out..Which is exaclty what happened last week I was yelled at and berated, which in turn made me feel worthless.I have now acknowledgeed that this person was doing so out of his own fear and insecurites.
FEAR, IS OUR MOST POWERFUL EMOTION, CREATES ANGER, FRUSTRATION, SADDNES ETC..
But I was recentley told of a great analogy.
When someones says something or does something to or that triggers you. you must learn to put yourself in the eye of the tornado, the calm spot. Think of what they said as the tornado, makes things whirl and fly around uncontroably in your head, these are your thoughts running away from you. if you feel yourself rising into the uncontrolable spinning find a way to take control remove yourself from thier storm.
They have created this storm and if we let it pick us up and send us spinning then we make it our problem when its actually not.....
Don't by any means let them make it your problem as this is what they want, to direct the actual problem from them to you. Thus making you the fall guy..and they get to feel better.
I know it's hard , but with pratice we can all do this. I have not yet perfected it but just knowing where the turmoil is coming from and knowing it not always me makes me feel a lot better, and maybe like I have some control.
My week has improved, not prefect but knowing that I am not always a fault does help.
I don't know any more then anyone else, but wanted to share what I am going thru . who knows maybe just maybe it will touch someone else, and help. as that is all I want from this post.
Thanks, your support this last week, it has been very heartfelt and much needed, I hope I can reach out as some of have done and make them feel a little better..
PS. Sorry for the long post..

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
