I have to meet with my attorney today, as my X has decided he is going to let the house get foreclosed on. In our court ordered agreement he was to keep us in home until 2011 when sons graduates HS. This is the 2nd time in less then 4 years he has done this. Says Mtg company said sell date is June 24.
We looked at apts this weekend no one will take more then 2 pets and each pet has a deposit of $650.00 then a rent fee of $25-$50 a month per pet I live near a University so most of the apts are full of noisy kids with no parking and really suck..
I'm trying really hard not to fall apart and hold it together. But I can feel my self slipping.So scared,worried.
I am trying to take the intative(sp) and take of things such as a place to live, finding homes for pets, liquadation a 4 bedroom home..

Just could use some words of encouragment.

That is a LOT to have on one's plate all at once. Just try to take these things one at a time. Remember to BREATHE. Take deep breaths, and try to relax. Once you make a plan and begin to execute it, the anxiety of the unknown will begin to dissipate.

don't know much about divorce now days ... mine was in 1968!! But it seems like it is HIS problem given there is a court order involved.

INDEED, talk to your lawyer. I would think HE has to get EVERYTHING straight w/ the mortgage company. I hope that is how it goes for you.

I am curious as to whether it goes that way or not .. so let us know if you are so inclined.

i suggest talking with your lawyer and also taking on thing on at a time
also remember to have some you time to relax and recuperate

Ok, met with attorney and X, he's has to pay me $3000 a month which would be alot anywhere but here, Have to be out of house by July 1..

This means liquadating my 4 bedroom home, which, to be honest will be a relief, like a cleansing. I have a ton of collectibles which I have been carrying around for the last 25 years.
The hardest of this thing is that I have to find homes for my 9 year old Lab and 10 year old mutt and one very shy kitty.this is the thing that makes me cry..
