Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Tonight has been alright I suppose. I convinced my boss to let me do a movie tonight for the clients instead of a "relaxation" group topic. It really helped me get my mind off of where I am. I get off work at 11pm, in 20 minutes. And tomorrow is a crazy day, so I'm a little anxious about it actually. I have a phone interview at 10am, then I have counseling at 12, then I have a coffee date at 1:15, then I work at 3. I feel bad because my puppy will be in her crate that whole time. But even worse, I get off work at 11pm tomorrow, then I have to work again at 7am Friday, so poor puppy will be in her crate so much the next 2 days and my roommate is gone for 10 days (of course). So I'm going to have to BEG her mom to come let puppy out because she is only 4 months old and needs to go potty sometime. She can't last 12 hours in her crate without a potty break or dinner. I just feel guilty about it. Anyway, iot also sucks for me because I will get less than 7 hours of sleep Thursday night which will make for a rough day Friday. Ugh.
Positively, my parents have agreed to talk about me possibly moving home for a month or two to let me get a job and settle in before I move out again. I don't want to live at home forever, really. I like living outside of the house. But I need a job and I can't stay here any longer if I keep feeling this way, which these feelings are not going away. I wake up every day wishing I had died in my sleep. I spend most of my days trying to do homework and failing, crying, and sleeping before coming to work. Then I come to work and the knots in my stomach tighten and I feel as though I'm trapped. I have to get out of here. Quickly. And my best option is to give my 2 weeks notice on Monday. Hopefully my parents agree to this. I am more than willing to put dates on things and set up ground rules/ I don't care what it takes at this point. Even if I have to pay them something to live there for a while. I DON'T CARE. I just need to get home.

Thursday night try and take a nice hot relaxing bath before bed, lavendar oils or a lavendar candle might help you relax. A cup of warm milk or chamomile tea might help as well. Don't spend the time before bed fretting over the next day, spend it thinking calm thoughts and doing calming things.
I would love to relax tonight, but I work until 11pm. And then I have to work again at 7am, so bed right away is very important.
I don't have any puppy pee pads unfortunately, and I don't want to start teaching her that peeing on the floor is okay, because I already had to break her of peeing on the floor from pee pads. So that isn't an option. And I got my roommates mom and sister to come over tonight to let her out, so she should be okay, just a little hyper.
Thanks for all the ideas, though!
