Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I just wanted to say to anyone who is suicidal that there is hope for you all. You might feel like you have no hope for the future and that it would be for the best for your family and for you if you kill yourself. Let me tell you that it is not for the betterment of anyone for you to kill yourself. Remember that if you feel so low that you feel like you want to kill yourself, try doing something fun. No matter what you do it cannot get any worse then what you are feeling now.
