Ok, my first trigger post. I don't know if anyone here has seen commercials for a TNT movie called "Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story." To sum i tup, Dr Carson went from a student with bad grades to Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at John Hopkins Hospital at age 33. As to why this a trigger for me, I know I'm going to get this shoved in my face by my father. "Hey, look at what he did when he was your age, etc." Yes, Dr. Carson and my father himself have accomplished more that I have when they were my age.......I think I need to stop here.
I hope you have some one in RL to support you and tell you that you have gifts that matter. I think being honorable and kind are of great value. Not everyone sees you as your father does. Does he even know how you feel? Hugs to you.
